Teacher Comments
Dear Eileen,
I wanted to thank you for what a difference you have made to our students! As you know, since I am the Art teacher I work closely with the students’ hands and I have seen such improvement in all of the students you and your staff have worked with. It is great to see a child’s confidence blossom as they realize they can do what everyone else is doing instead of struggling. I am so glad that we have your expertise to help us get the students what they need to be successful in school and life. You are a priceless resource to all of the faculty and families. It is great to know you are only a phone call away and always ready to observe a child. I have seen great things happen when our students grow and change from year to year but sometimes they do need a little help and you and your staff are the help they need!
Sincerely,
Susan Daniel

Hi Eileen,
Brain Gym was amazing. The two students were in here a mere 20 minutes, and the kids thoroughly enjoyed each and every exercise. The students were very professional, and were great at leading the younger kids in proper form. I told them that if they ever needed internship hours from Florida Hospital, I would LOVE to have them back for more in-depth work. In fact, that’s my only constructive comment: I wish I could have them for a longer amount of time to really WORK with the kids rather than just SHOW activities. I think so much more could have been taken from the activity if we could have created a mini-test or something like that and actually USE the methods with the 2 students here with me. Perhaps do a before-and-after and see how the “test” went with the activities involved. This might be quite detailed, but again, if those 2 students need hours for anything, I’d enjoy partnering with them to create some kind of residency where they come in every couple of weeks and we monitor progress.

Good morning Eileen,
Thank you for all your help. I absolutely love that he can now draw people with arms and legs and that don’t look like bugs. He loves the exercises you teach him too. Last week he showed me how he can put his elbows and knees together. And he loves to skip now too. I am truly amazed! His handwriting is improving too. Thank you again for everything!
He spoke with me this afternoon about his positive experiences with handwriting lately. I am having him update a Fun and Fitness journal for PE on a weekly basis so I can see how he is doing. Of course, he loves this task since he has so many taekwondo hours! I see a huge improvement in the capital letters since December. His numbers are coming along, too. I agree, it's time to drop back to one session a week. I'll congratulate him. Thank you so much. We are very glad to be working with you.
We are very pleased as well!
It's like something suddenly clicked. Thank you for all you've done for him :o)
Thanks so much for helping him this summer. He is expressing his new confidence in reading and writing which makes me so happy. You have truly been a huge help to him! Thank you again...
Thanks so much for your detailed reports, Eileen. He told me he held the pencil just like you told him to today -he seemed very proud of his accomplishment.
Many, many thanks. She has grown by leaps and bounds this year in so many areas.
Thank you for everything, you are such a large part of his progress, we will keep in touch, thanks
He has been doing his homework in cursive as well as his school work and it is looking much better. He has to concentrate on the letters which makes him write slower which helps with the neatness. I am happy to see an improvement we will certainly keep practicing the plank this summer. Thank you!
Thanks for working with him this past month. I know he loves going to see you!
It didn't take her long at all and I was so happy with her descriptive words! Thanks for all of your help. She has so much potential...sometimes it just take a little nudge to get it out of her. And I did talk to her about the very, very, very..etc. and how she could use other words to express that. I made a huge deal about it because she did it on her own and she did not need a lot of prompting and redirection.
Thank you for working so nicely with him, he was originally afraid of therapy but always said he enjoyed it with you.
He did retake his star test and did much much better. He scored in the 2.9 to 4.2 range so he was very excited that he can read 4th grade level books.
Thanks. I’ve been noticing that his ‘Rs’ are much better. He said “squirrel” yesterday at dinner and it was much clearer.
We wanted to thank you for your wonderful work. Who knows what great work he will accomplish in his life? Maybe writing a book, designing a building, or doing cutting-edge research. Thanks to you his writing will be understood now!
She is such a lucky girl to have such a great team looking out and working for her. Oh the places she will go.
Thanks for the info. It was interesting because when he did his homework, I noticed how he was trying real hard to space properly between his words in his sentences. Looks like it may be working!!
She has taught everyone in our house the proper pencil grip using the pencil song. Tonight, when I had her sign her code of conduct form, she sang it to grip her pencil then wrote. Love that!!!
