What is Receptive Language?
Receptive Language is how the brain understands and processes the words that the ears hear. Receptive Language skills is important for being able to understand what is said in conversation and lessons and understand and follow directions.
Does my child need Receptive Language support?
Children may have trouble with understanding what is said to them or frequently need directions repeated to them. If your child has trouble quickly understanding conversation or directions said to them or you find yourself repeating what your said to your child often, look at our Receptive Language Red Flags Checklist to see if your child may be a candidate for Receptive Language support.
